Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers like Juvéderm®, Radiesse®, and Restylane® restore volume and smooth lines and enhance facial contours using hyaluronic acid fillers, all without invasive surgical procedures.

  • Hyaluronic acid—the hydrating molecule found naturally throughout the human body—keeps the skin plump and hydrated. Hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers can help soften lines and folds created through repeated movements, gravity, and the loss and degradation of structural supportive elements such as collagen and elastin.

  • Dermal fillers are gel-like injectables that can smooth lines, soften creases, and enhance facial contours.

Popular treatment areas include midface and cheek re-volumization, nasal labial folds, oral commissures and marionette lines (the lines from the lower corners of the mouth to the jawline), lips, and to help better define the jawline and chin.

  • Your anatomy, volume loss, and aesthetic goals are unique to you, requiring a complimentary consultation by the expertly trained nurse injector who will be performing your treatment to determine the best plan of care to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

  • After an individualized plan of care has been made, topical numbing cream will be applied to assist with making the filler treatment more comfortable. Patients report minimal discomfort with additional numbing solution injected along with your injected filler to further assist with comfort during your treatment. Swelling and bruising should be expected so please do not schedule any filler treatment within two weeks of any event. Sometimes, several sessions and building filler over time are recommended to build to one’s final goal. Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers are a phenomenal tool to help patients achieve a more refreshed, rejuvenated appearance while looking naturally restored and not overdone.

Results can last 6 months to 1 year for some fillers, with other lifting hyaluronic acid-based fillers can last up to 1 year or longer. Your experienced injector can recommend what filler options will be best suited to achieve your desired goals.

PDO Smooth Threads

Smooth threads of polymer—the same used in medical sutures and thinner than a strand of hair— are injected below the skin, resulting in tighter, smoother skin; minimized fine lines and wrinkles; and increased volume and firmness over time.

  • PDO refers to polydioxanone, a polymer used in medical sutures. The introduction of the threads to the skin causes the tissue to build collagen and other structural proteins in the skin resulting in tighter, smoother skin, helping to minimize fine lines and wrinkles with increased volume and firmness over time.

  • PDO Smooth Threads are strategically injected below the skin, causing the body to respond to the micro-injury by adding its own structural proteins.

PDO Smooth Threads are FDA cleared and are one of the safest materials that can be used in the body. They have been used for 30 years in orthopedic and cardiovascular surgeries .

  • There are a variety of treatment areas and concerns that can be addressed with PDO threads. You can add volume in deep wrinkles and facial folds, around the vermillion border of the lip, or lines in the neck.

Smooth Threads can be used anywhere you would like to create smoother, plumper, more youthful looking skin.

  • The injectable treatment is quick, with relatively mild to no discomfort. Possible side effects include bruising, swelling, tenderness, or pain and typically subside within days or weeks.

You will start to see changes around 4 weeks with full results at 3-4 months post treatment that last 18 months to 2 years. PDO threads treatment is usually recommended in a series of 2-4 treatments spaced 4-8 weeks apart for optimal results.

Botox®, Dysport®, and XEOMIN®

The cosmetic injectable neurotoxin compounds in Botox®, Dysport®, and XEOMIN® relax muscles, helping to smooth out lines and wrinkles in treatment areas of the face and neck.

  • Treatment with a neuromodulator can cause your facial expression lines or wrinkles to be less noticeable or in some cases, essentially disappear.

  • Common areas of neuromodulator treatment include the frown lines between the eyes, forehead wrinkles, the “crow’s feet” lines around the outer edge of the eyes, vertical lines around the lip, a “lip flip” around the lip to help improve lip who, necklines or “tech neck,” and head and neck muscles.

  • Every patient’s anatomy, skin, and musculature is unique, requiring a complimentary consultation by the expertly trained nurse injector who will be performing your treatment to determine the best plan of care to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

  • During the treatment, the neurotoxin is injected into the muscles with a very thin needle which most patients report is almost painless. Patients may feel a slight burning or stinging sensation while the solution is being injected. The procedure takes about 15 - 20 minutes.

After treatment, many people begin noticing that lines can start softening as soon as 48 hours. Improvement continues for several days afterward to produce optimal results by 10-14 days post-treatment. Results can last up to 3 months. With repeated treatments and appropriate dosing, results may last longer. Since neurotoxins provide temporary results, your plan will likely include 3-4 visits per year to achieve optimal results while maintaining a consistent, more relaxed, and refreshed look.

Microneedling with the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO

Powerful, nonsurgical treatment for age spots, blackheads, hyperpigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines, and wrinkles with the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO.

  • Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin. It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté’, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and neck—the areas that often reveal the most tell-tale signs of aging and sun damage.

  • The FDA-approved Eclipse MicroPen® EVO skin needling system allows for controlled induction of the skin’s self-repair mechanism by creating micro “injuries” in the skin which triggers new collagen synthesis without the risk of permanent scarring or burns associated with laser treatments. This results in effective remodeling of aged skin, imperfections, and scar tissue while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact for smoother, firmer, and younger-looking skin.

  • The Eclipse MicroPen® EVO skin needling procedure is the safest microneedling system on the market with a sterile single use protective sleeve and sterile single use cartridges for each patient that prevents cross contamination and keeps patients safe.

  • Your provider will begin by using a topical anesthetic on the treatment area to minimize discomfort. The procedure is normally completed within 30-60 minutes depending on the size of the treatment area.

After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed in appearance similar to a mild to moderate sunburn. The skin may also feel dry or have a feeling of tightness with possible mild sensitivity to touch. This will diminish after a few hours following treatment, with noticeable reductions in redness and flushing in 24 hours, with most visible redness completely resolved by 3 days post-procedure.

Patients can see a “glow” to their skin as soon as the procedure is finished, and visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve up to six months after the treatment. Some patients only require a single treatment in one visit just once a year to achieve noticeable results. However, most providers recommend that patients receive a series of 3 treatments, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart for best results. For patients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive 6-8 sessions at six-week intervals.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), often referred to as “Liquid Gold.” is the perfect solution to stimulate cell growth within the body. PRP has been used for years in orthopedics and sports medicine to treat muscle and ligament injuries, pain problems, and skin lesions. This success in medicine led to the use of PRP as an anti-aging treatment to induce new collagen production, reduce wrinkles, and diminish the visible signs of aging by growing new healthy tissue.

  • Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin. Kybella®

Kybella® is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that permanently destroys fat cells. It is an effective treatment option for “stubborn” fat that may not respond to diet or exercise, particularly in the submental or “double chin” area and jowls.

  • Treatment with Kybella® is quick and easy. When injected, Kybella® immediately starts destroying the cells that store fat. The body’s natural healing process begins, and the cells are absorbed by the body. Within four to six weeks, a noticeable reduction in fat should begin to become visible.

  • Kybella® is made from synthetic deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule found in the body that breaks down fat.

  • Kybella® may be an effective treatment option for you if you are healthy and exercise regularly, but have areas of fat that don’t respond to diet or exercise, particularly in the neck or chin. You will receive a customized, complimentary consultation to decide the best course of treatment to meet your goals, which typically will consist of multiple treatment sessions for most patients.

  • Kybella® is administered in a series of injections during each visit and each visit will be typically spaced 4 to no longer than 6 weeks apart. Each treatment takes about 20 or 30 minutes. Swelling in the treatment area is common and can take 1-2 weeks to subside. There may also be some bruising after treatment, but nothing that would require interruption of your daily routines.

The number of treatments required will vary from patient to patient and with the area of the body being treated, to a maximum of 6 treatments. Most patients will begin noticing a reduction in fullness underneath the chin after 2 to 4 treatments. Improvements continue after treatment, as Kybella gradually works. Many patients have reported that results can last more than two years after treatment.

Chemical Peels and Dermaplaning

Effective for significantly improving pigment, fine lines and wrinkles, tone and texture, and skin imperfections, without the downtime or risks of a surgical procedure.

  • Peels can vary in strength from superficial to deep with correlated degrees and time of peeling. While superficial peels can give you cellular turnover for a go and glow look without the physical side effect of peeling, medium, and full-depth chemical peels penetrate further to address a range of skin concerns including hyperpigmentation, fine lines, wrinkles, as well as acne. After treatment, a proper self-care routine is required.

  • Before treatment, a consultation is required to assess what peel is right for your skin and aesthetic goals, as well as what products (acids, retinols, etc.) you will need to discontinue prior to treatment for best results. It is imperative with any peel that you refrain from direct sunlight on the treatment area during your peel and after your skin has returned to normal so as to reduce hyperpigmentation risk and to protect your investment in your skin.

It is imperative with any peel that you refrain from direct sunlight on the treatment area during your peel and after your skin has returned to normal so as to reduce hyperpigmentation risk and to protect your investment in your skin.

  • In a peel treatment, a chemical solution is applied to the skin to penetrate the layers of skin below the surface, removing dull, dead surface skin, and inspiring the expedited production of new fresh skin to be brought to the surface to replace that which was sloughed with the chemical peel.

Dermaplaning is a physical exfoliation procedure. It requires the use of a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently "shave" the skin's surface, removing the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). Peels may be done in combinations with dermaplaning to enhance results.
